How do I complete an application to be an Expert? Can I share my account?

If your application is not yet complete or if you are wondering how to get started, here's what to do:

1. Click on the Expert Application.

2. Select the category that you applied or want to apply to and click "Apply Now:"

3. If you've already started your application, you'll be sent right to the "Next Steps" page with information on what you've already completed as well as what you still need to fill out. If this is the first time you are filling out your application, you'll need to sign up, fill out an online application and take a short subject matter test before entering a credential.

To fill out credential information, select the category under the "Provide your credentials" section:

 

Click the type of credential you'd like to edit. For example, for Education, click "edit education:"

 

Fill out your education credentials and select "continue" and then "Submit Credentials:"

 

Once all of your information is submitted and processed, you will be notified by email of the status. This could take up to a week.
 
Please note: If someone else would like to be an Expert, he/she needs to sign up with a different email address. Each Expert must be admitted individually; account sharing is not allowed. Violation of this policy may result in the banning of the Expert.
